April on Inside the Middle East

The article is about recent events and entertainment in the Middle East the first even is the gathering of harley Davidson owners across the Middle East and some from Europe. Diamond dealers, bankers, teachers exchanged valuables from business suits for leather jackets and bandanas. A new record might be set by the first Arabic women to cross the North Pole she is a twenty-seven year old named Elham Al-Qasimi. Elham has been training herself mentally and physically the last couple months to get prepared for the long journey. Also the richest horse race recently happened in Dubai, the name of it is The Dubai World Cup it happened at a newly built multi-billion dollar meydan race track. Camel trekking is one of the worst imagining places for no water available most of the time, but for some crossing the Sahara is a tradition.

My reaction to the article is very interesting while some of this stuff in the United States might be boring in Eastern hemishpere it may be there only entertainment. The multi-billion building of the race track sort of bothers me due to the struggles of starvation and poverty near Egypt and it's confusing to me that their so worried about a horse track. The women trying to set the record for crossing the North Pole and her being the only Arabic lady to do so is exciting for most of the Middle East due to the down look women get in the Middle East.
